Shipping: Over Size, Pallet & Motor Freight Shipping

- Any oversized package 48" x 48" or larger must go via motor freight
- If an item is too large (or we do not have appropriate UPS-able packaging) to
ship via UPS ground (or comparable carrier), it will be disclosed on the
CorrugatedPlastics.Net Website that it must ship by a
trucking or Motor Freight company. Stating that an item must be shipped via motor freight
means that standard UPS ground cannot accommodate an object of its size because of
their size or weight restrictions.
- Motor Freight Shipping charges are based on a discounted rate quote that we receive from
our trucking, motor freight, manufacturer's or delivery companies.
- Products on your order may be shipped from multiple warehouses & locations.
- CorrugatedPlastics.Net will try it's best to get you
a reasonable rate for all motor freight shipments to your location.
- Shipping to a residence by motor freight will have an extra fee of approximately
$50.00 or more, plus any necessary accessorial charges.
- Liftgate fee will apply if necessary. A liftgate is an accessorial item that
will lower the pallet from the bed of the delivery truck to ground level; without
a liftgate, the delivery driver has the responsibility to move the pallet to the
end of the truck. The customer is then responsible for the lowering and removal of
the pallet or unit to ground level.
- Without paying specific accessorial charges, delivery by an LTL (Less-Than-a-Load)
Carrier entails the delivery driver bringing the pallet to the end of the truck for
removal; if a liftgate accessorial charge is paid, the delivery driver is responsible
for lowering the pallet to ground level from the bed of the truck. The delivery driver
is not responsible (without paying specific accessorial charges) for bringing
the pallet inside of a location, upstairs in a location, helping install a unit, etc.
- Pallets are approximately 48" x 40", so the delivery and drop-off area must be able
to accommodate a pallet that size. (Some items, such as our corrugated plastic sheets
that are 48" x 96" or larger are to large for a skid and must be placed on a double skid
for the 48" x 96" pallet size).
- Currently all motor freight companies are charging a fuel surcharge for all deliveries.
- All Freight Quotes & Prices given or selected, include packaging and handling charges.
- Even though we try our best to give you an exact shipping costs, not all shipping
quotes are correct. As gas prices change every day, so does shipping costs, fuel surcharges,
and prices. If there are any extra costs for shipping your items, we will contact you
before shipping them out.
- The customer, not CorrugatedPlastics.Net, will be responsible
for extra motor freight charges that occur on all deliveries.
- Always inspect your items for damage that may have occurred during shipping. Note
any damage on the Bill of Lading at the time of delivery or at the terminal when you
pick the item up (pallets shipping from our warehouse are securely wrapped and strapped
for security and safety purposes, if the wrap appears to be torn or re-wrapped, Inspect
the pallet prior to signing the Bill of Lading). View our Shipping Claims Policies for

- If you have an alternate delivery company that you would prefer to use, and you
can provide us with an account number, you may do this. This would include but not
limited to: UPS, FedEX, DHL, AirBourne Express, Yellow Freight, NEMF, and any other
delivery or motor freight company. However, you may be responsible for labor and
materials (up to $25.00) which must be pre-paid to CorrugatedPlastics.Net
prior to scheduling the pick-up; additionally, any and all liability
will be removed from CorrugatedPlastics.Net if the
buyer opts to set-up the packages and or pallet shipment on their own; you will be
responsible for contact with your carrier, providing a Bill of Lading or other
applicable paperwork as per the carrier, as well as any claims against the trucking
company should that be necessary.
- Important Shipping Note: CorrugatedPlastics.Net will do everything
in it ability to make sure that your items are shipped out on time and arrive at
your location, in a timely manner, undamaged and on time. However, CorrugatedPlastics.Net, its
affiliates and parent company DOES NOT OWN ANY FREIGHT OR TRUCKING COMPANY. All
shipments are sent via a 3rd party carrier service, freight company or trucking
company. Once an item, package or skid is picked up from one of our locations and
leaves our facilities, your items are now in the possession and responsibility of a
3rd party freight or trucking company. CorrugatedPlastics.Net will try it's best
to give accurate shipping details and delivery times, however, all we can do is
give the information that is given to us from our carriers and freight companies.
CorrugatedPlastics.Net WILL NOT GUARANTEE the delivery of any over-night, or
special requests for rush shipments that go via motor freight or trucking companies.
Even though, about 98.9% of all freight deliveries arrive on time without any
problems, things do happen, which are out of the control of CorrugatedPlastics.Net.
CorrugatedPlastics.Net will not be held responsible for any shipments that go by
UPS, FedEX, USPS, Motor Freight or trucking company that are not delivered on time.
CorrugatedPlastics.Net will work diligently to make sure that your shipments are
sent out on time, and arrive on time. However, if a shipment does arrive late, or
damage or has any problems, CorrugatedPlastics.Net will work with our customers
to make sure that the items they ordered will arrive at their location as soon as
possible.
CorrugatedPlastics.Net DOES NOT GIVE OUT FREE SHIPPING. If there is a problem
with an order or shipment, that is not the fault of CorrugatedPlastics.Net, but
rather that of a 3rd party carrier service, freight or truck company and we are
charged for the shipping fees, we still need to pass those charges onto our customers.
CorrugatedPlastics.Net will work to the best of our ability to get any type of
discounts on shipments when possible and pass the savings to our customers for
shipments that have had problems. CorrugatedPlastics.Net will work with our
customer's to file any claims or complaints with any carrier or freight company.
All carriers and freight companies, work for you as well as CorrugatedPlastics.Net.
CorrugatedPlastics.Net will not be held responsible for any actions, representatives,
services or guarantees from 3rd party freight or shipping companies. All claims
and complaints MUST BE MADE TO THE CARRIER, not to CorrugatedPlastics.Net.
